Directed by Raja Krishna Menon ‘Airlift’ is a movie based on a true story of the evacuation of the Indians trapped in Kuwait during the Gulf War. The two-minute teaser will give you the inside story of real life incidents that happened during the war in Kuwait that also holds a guinness world record for the biggest ever human evacuation in the world.
Akshay is playing an Indian Businessman Ranjit Katyal settled in Kuwait. He is powerful yet when Saddam Hussein invades the Gulf nation, he loses everything. Getting evacuated by India is the last hope of Ranjit and many Indian trapped during the war. A country which they had left behind and forgotten about, now only can save them.
