Sanjay Leela Bhansali created the magic of dance off yet once again. Earlier it was ‘Dola Re Dola’ with Aishwarya Rai and Madhuri Dixit, now it is between Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone in ‘Pinga’ from his upcoming venture Bajirao Mastani. Both of his songs have many similarities, ‘Dola Re’ was a traditional Bengali number and ‘Pinga’ is a traditional Lavani number. Both actors’ costumes are same; Red and white saree in Dola Re Dola and Red Maharashtrian saree in Pinga.
The basic theme of the song is almost similar, both the actors share the love for one man ( Shahrukh Khan in Devdas and Ranveer Singh in Bajirao Mastani). The actresses are letting their personal differences aside to dance in the name of love. Priyanka Chopra is welcoming the warrior princes ‘Mastani’ to forget the differences and embrace the feeling of love they have in their heart for the man they are in love with.

The expression of Priyanka Chopra in which she is not insecure about Deepika (sautan) makes her a true winner and the star of the songs. Of course, her grace and beautiful moves will not let you take your eyes off her and she is overshadowing Deepika with her performance in the song.
The song is an impeccable Lavani song. Shreya Ghoshal and Vaishali Made sang the song beautifully and the Bhansali music is dramatically perfect for the theme. Siddharth Garima penned pleasing lyrics and the choreography of Remo D’souza nailed the dancing part. Bajirao Mastani is set to release on 18 December.
