A German man broke his own beer-carrying record by carrying 29 Jugs of beer in one go.
Haven’t we all tried to gather as many pints as possible in our hands while going from the bar to our table? And nothing more than 5 have successfully landed on the table before ending their lives on the dance floor. However, there’s a man who can carry as much as 29 jugs of beer in one go and travel to as much as 40 m with them, isn’t that amazing?
Oliver Struempfel is the talented man behind this world record. In Bavaria, during Oktoberfest, which is the world’s largest beer festival, Struempfel successfully managed to cradle some 29 beer-filled jugs and walked a total of 40m. He has now broken his own original record of 25 beer jugs.
However, it wasn’t as easy as it seems to be. At first, Struempfel easily completed his task with 27 beer jugs, which was 2 more than his previous triumph. Then he decided to make another attempt with 31 glasses, but just as he was trying to settle the glasses down on the table, two fell, that brought the number down to 29. Nonetheless, it’s an amazing victory and something that Struempfel has worked extremely hard for. These 29 jugs of beer weigh a total of 69 kg and it requires a lot of strength and precision.
Struempfel admitted that he has been training for this, since February and was going to the gym some four times a week.
