Water is life’s matter and matrix, mother and medium. There is no life without water. – Albert Szent-Gyorgyi
My grandfather always taught me that drinking water should be the first thing I should do as soon as I wake up and since childhood, it is one ritual that I have followed religiously. With time I learnt that drinking water on an empty stomach has more benefits. It helps cleanse the internal organs, ensures that nutrients are easily absorbed in food, makes our digestive system better and also keep the functions of our kidneys smooth.
If you are drinking warm water in the morning, it works like magic. It detoxifies impurities, reduces skin blemishes, keeps your skin smooth, soft and glowing.
These are few of many reasons that you should drink water in the morning on an empty stomach but, if you are looking for more. Here are 3 major reasons why drinking water should be the first thing you should do in the morning.
1. Your Digestion System Will Work Smoothly.
An empty stomach when consumed water, it makes bowel movement very easy. When your body consumes clean water in the morning, it digests food better and eliminate the chances of bloating and constipation. It also reduces the risk of catching diseases like Typhoid and Cholera.
2. It Flushes Out Toxins!
Because it improves your digestive system, it automatically detoxifies your body. Due to the enough percentage of fluid in your body, the food breaks down easily in your stomach and organs stimulate in right way. It removes all the impurities and keeps your body healthy.
3. It Helps You Lose Weight!
Now, you may not have to keep any other reason in mind as in today’s time most of the people are looking for a miracle so that they could lose some extra kilos. Guess what? Water is that miracle. Drinking water regularly first thing in the morning helps you with weight loss. It’s very effective as I have tried it myself.
So here you go. I guess I have given you more than enough reasons to incorporate this new habit. Drink water, stay healthy as it is a blessing in disguise.
