First thing first, we all know how tough being a woman in a patriarchal society is, and on top of it, if you are working as an actor, then God should definitely bless you.
Not only in India, but in the entire world, we have heard the stories, as well as seen how little women are treated in comparison to their male counterparts. This is not just limited to your household or school but can be seen or experienced in every walk of life.
Bollywood Actresses have time and again come out with some of the most horrific stories about the inequality with which they were and are treated. From Richa Chadda to Kangana Ranaut to Priyanka Chopra, everyone had to face difficulties that surrounded their gender. Body shaming and unequal pay is just the tip of the iceberg, there’s a lot that undergoes an actress’s’ work life.
