Living in a country with a population of over 1 Billion, talking about sex or pornography is still difficult, thanks to the burden of awkwardness it carries. Most of us have been exposed to pornography at some stage, in most cases, voluntarily. Some people have also been caught watching pornography at work, which gets really awkward if you work in the Parliament house. But in a dim room of a comedy club, it becomes much easier. Talking about Pornography, I mean.
In his second video, Stand-up Comedian Garv Malik talks about his experiences with pornography, and dissects it the way Rajiv Masand could never dissect a movie. He talks about cultural differences, in the west and the east, and how they show up in the content these two parts of the world generate. Surprisingly, the video contains no explicit usage of words, which cannot be heard in front of your family. However, reacting to these jokes in front of family members can cause a lot of doubt. It could lead to some questions which parents are mostly afraid to ask and kids are afraid to answer, and basically revolve around “How did you understand this?”
Why I quit watching porn | Stand-up Comedy by Garv Malik : Watch the video over here:
The comedian describes how these videos are a great insight into the real estate market and tells us what are the unconventional takeaways from these videos, as the videos depict a world too far from reality. He ensures that everything is expressed in a subtle and indirect way, which sometimes causes the audience to take a moment.
The relatability of this video becomes directly proportional to the expose an individual has, and is a total laugh riot, if fully understood. The video is definitely refreshing and funny.
