Samsung SM-G9298 aka Leadership 8 has been launched in China with high-end specifications, premium look, and dual screens. Yes, you read it right, Samsung SM-G9298 is a dual screen smartphone, thanks to its flip design.
After launching the W2017 flip phone in China, the South Korean smartphone manufacturer has introduced its successor, Samsung SM-G9298 as well as Galaxy Folder 2.
In an age of bezel-less smartphones, it is more than refreshing to see Samsung introducing flip phones and just after Nokia with its 3310 and Blackberry with its KEYone brought back the feeling of nostalgia to the customers, it’s time for Samsung SM-G9298 to leave its mark.
However, before going into the depths of Samsung SM-G9298, first, we would like you to meet Galaxy Folder 2.
This device features 3.8-inches (480 x 800) TFT LCD display coupled with WVGA resolution and specs like quad-core 1.4GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC with Adreno 308 GPU, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of onboard storage, which is expandable memory up to 256GB with microSD, Android 6.0.1 (Marshmallow) OS, 8MP rear camera with LED Flash, PDAF, f/1.9 aperture, 5MP front-facing camera with fixed focus and f/1.9 aperture, Dual SIM and 1,950mAh battery with quick charge support, makes it a perfect mid-ranger.
But Samsung SM-G9298 aka Leadership 8 is another ball game altogether.

When someone says flip phones, the first thing that might come to our mind is ‘Motorola Razr V3’ which, after being launched in 2004, proved that a handset/mobile phone can be premium as well as comfortable. The V3 was an epitome of foldable handsets and as expected, it sold around 130 units worldwide, out of which I personally got to use one.
Although devices like Motorola Razr V3 have become obsolete, Samsung SM-G9298 is definitely the key to bring back the old days of flip phones.
The price and availability of the Samsung SM-G9298 is yet to be confirmed by the company but we expect the Galaxy Folder 2 to be priced anywhere around 1900 Chinese Yuan (Rs 18,000 approx).
