Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus has been one of the highest selling smartphones in India and to make the deal even more appealing, the South Korean maker slashed its prices to Rs 60,900 from Rs 64,900 just before the Note 8’s launch, as part of the Navratra Special offer.
However, it seems like, in order to further boost its sales, Samsung has decided to give the Galaxy S8 Plus its second price cut which and this time, the offer will be available via offline sales, as well.
For the unknown, Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus were launched in India in April this year and since then, they have been ruling the flagship segment, however, when the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus received its first price cut for the 128GB storage variant, its effective cost come down to Rs 65,900 from Rs 70,900. This also meant that the 64GB variant was priced just Rs 1000 lower than its bigger version, creating a hell lot of confusion among the buyers and gradually reducing the sales of Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus 64GB version.
However, then came the Navratra Special offer, which brought the prices of Samsung Galaxy S8 and Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus to 53,900 and Rs 60,900 respectively. And now the Plus variant has received another price cut of Rs 2000 and is retailing at Rs 58,900 via all major online as well as offline stores.

Samsung Galaxy S8, on the other hand, comes with a 5.8-inch (2960 x 1440) Quad HD display and a smaller 3000mAh battery, while rest of the specifications remain same.

Also, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 was launched by the Korean maker in India and the device has been going against the likes of iPhone 8 Plus, LG V30, LG G6 and the recently launched Google Pixel 2 XL.
As for the specifications, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 comes with a 6.3-inch Quad HD+ (2960 × 1440) Super AMOLED bezel-less display, Exynos 8895 processor, Android Nougat, 6GB LPDDR4 RAM, 64GB of internal storage 12MP Dual Pixel rear camera and an 8MP autofocus front shooter. Powering the Note 8 is a 3300 mAh battery with quick charge and wireless charging support.

As for the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, the recent price cut has brought this smartphone under the sub-Rs 60,000 mark and considering its flagship specifications and performance credentials, it is now one of the of the most value for money smartphones in the segment.
