Honor 7X has been launched in China by Huawei in as many as three internal storage variants i.e. 32GB, 64GB and 128GB which are priced at 1299 Yuan (Rs 12,868.80 approx.), 1699 Yuan (Rs 16,829.41 approx.) and 1999 Yuan (Rs 19,801.06 approx.).
The smartphone will be succeeding the highly successful Honor 6X and just like its predecessor, Honor 7X also comes with highlighted features like the dual-camera setup at the rear and decent performance credential. However, to up the ante in the ever-so demanding mid-budget segment, Honor 7X has been launched with features like a 5.93 FullView Display with 18:9 aspect ratio and IP67 water and dust resistance rating.
That said, the mid-budget segment has also matured as one of the most demanding categories in the smartphone business and companies like Xiaomi, Lenovo, and even Samsung have left no stone unturned to come up with the best VFM devices from their respective stables.
So, does Honor 7X has what it takes to really stand out from the competition? Let’s see!!

As for its availability in India, just like its predecessor, Honor 7X also seems to have the right recipe to stand out in the competition but we do not expect it to be launched before the end of this year as Huawei recently launched the Honor 9i in India with four cameras which has almost similar specs like the Honor 7X.

Coming to our first impressions, we have already told our readers that Honor 7X is essentially an Honor 9i with a lower-end front camera. And as a package, at 1699 Yuan (Rs 16,829.41 approx.) for the 64GB model, it offers everything that you could expect from a mid-budget smartphone.
P.S The pricing of Honor 7X uncomfortably close to that of 9i.
