Rishabh Pant reminded of M.S. Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh on Monday in Dhaka. The under 19 player of India slammed the fastest 50 in just 18 balls playing against Nepal. Chasing a target of 169/8 made by Nepal, Indian under 19 Cricket team showcases the record breaking performance and reached the target in just 18.1 overs losing three wickets.
Opener Rishabh Pant hit a whirlwind 78 in just 24 balls and Captain Islan Kishan got 52 runs in just 40 balls. Both of them shared a partnership of 124 runs while they demolished Nepali bowlers with their Batting. Rishabh Pant smashed 9 boundaries and 5 sixes while hitting the fastest 50 off 18 balls and his half century is recorded as the fastest half-century in the history of under-19 internationals.
Both India and Nepal have already qualified for the Quarterfinals from Group D. Rahul Dravid coached the Indian under-19 team and the team’s all win record is already creating history. Although, Rishabh played a great innings but he was disappointed to miss out on the century.
Well, with that bat and those shot, century doesn’t seem a big target for him.
