For Ink Stains
Create a boundary around the stain with any petroleum jelly and apply isopropyl alcohol or nail polish remover with a cotton ball. Let it dry and wash with detergent soap and you will see it fade away
Remove Tea/Coffee Stains
Mix 1/3rd cup of vinegar in /3rd cup of water and soak the fabric in this solution. Dry the cloth in the sun and wash it afterward.

For Gravy Stains
This is one common stain especially if the fabric is white in color. The trick is not to soak the cloth in water immediately, sprinkle talcum powder or corn powder on the stain and let it absorb fully. Then dust it off with a dry cloth.
Remove Lipstick Stains
Apply nail polish remover to the stain and scrub it with an old toothbrush. Rinse the stain with isopropyl alcohol and let it dry. Alternatively, you can rub liquid glycerin on to the stain and let it dry for 30 minutes and wash it afterward if required.
For Stains Of Red Wine
This one is the most annoying. A stain of red wine on a white cloth hurts more and it doesn’t go easily. You can take some dish wash soap and scrub it on the stain followed by hydrogen peroxide and let it dry.
To Remove An Oil Stain
Take any washing liquid and scrub the stain and leave it for one hour. Wash the cloth in hot water for better results.
Remove Iron Rust Stains
Sprinkle some salt and lemon juice on the stain and then leave it overnight and wash it in the morning normally.
Remove Colored Pens/Crayons Stains
Rub some vinegar on the stain with the help of an old toothbrush and then wash it with normal detergent.

Remove Grease Stains
This is usually a tough one as grease ruins the clothes if you don’t treat it effectively. Sprinkle some baking soda on the stain and let it sit for 5-10 minutes, it will absorb the grease.
When the cloth fabric in question is Silk, it is very important to take care of the stains as the normal ways of removing stains would not work. The best way to get rid of any stain on your silk fabric is to soak the garment in glycerin stain remover.
Remove Ketchup Stains
Using a butter knife, scrape away the sauce as much as you can. Soak the stained area in cool water for ten minutes, then apply liquid laundry detergent and let it sit for 15 minutes and then wash.
Remove Sweat Stains
It is normal to sweat in this hot weather. However, it is quite embarrassing if the sweat stains appear on your white shirt especially the armpit area. Mix some baking soda with warm water and rub it on the stain. Let the clothe dry for 2 hours and then wash the paste off.
