Hola Ladies. Lipsticks are the moon to our faces, as they keep us shining; however, they look completely disastrous and ruin our beauty game after a few hours. Those chapped lips with scattered lipstick make us look untidy, and no matter how many cautions you take while applying that lip color, it almost always leaves you with the best long-lasting lipstick with the same result.
There are many times when we have shed money out of our wallet like it’s no big deal and bought an expensive lipstick, hoping that it will stick to our lips like stars stick in the sky even on a moonless night, but many times it leaves us miserable as we don’t get the desired results.
So what to do? Here is one foolproof method that will not only keep your lipstick on your lips for more than 6 to 8 hours but will also prevent your lips from chapping.
Step 1:
Trace your concealer around the outer edge of your lips and blend it into the skin around it using your fingers or brush.
Step 2:
Now apply a thin layer of regular concealer on your entire lips. If your lips are dry then first apply petroleum jelly or balm and then cover them with concealer. This will enhance the color of your lipstick as well as stick it to your lips for longer.
Step 3:
Now apply the color. Take a lip color that matches your skin tone. If are looking for a natural look, you can try peach, rose pink, coral or nude shades. Follow the natural shape of your lips and put that color on. If you want fuller lips, you can smidge outside your lip line. Make sure you are forming a proper shape so it doesn’t look untidy or overdone.
Step 4:
Ever heart of blotting? That’s what you need to do now. Fold a tissue in half and pat it on your lips lightly. It will remove the excess moisture. Now apply the second coat of lipstick, press your lips together and voila! You are set to go.
