He is called the Thalaiva. You know him as super duper star Rajnikanth. For everyone else- he is one of a kind. And sadly speaking, one of India’s most loved sons is currently undergoing treatment for what reports said are blood pressure complications.
In what can only be called one of the saddest pieces of news, Rajnikanth, 70, was admitted in a Hyderabad hospital given blood pressure fluctuations.
The only thing, which one has to say and goes without saying, is that may the veteran actor recover soon and experiences the pink of health, sooner than any later.
Make no mistake for 2020 has been an utterly despicable year where grave health concerns and actors are concerned.
Probably it is human nature or just being a tad bit over-concerned (which, well stems from human nature) that the moment one hears about a health scare for anyone (whether or not prominent), we tend to think of the worst.
But kindly don’t get the author of the piece wrong for the last thing anyone wishes here is to fuel misconceptions (handsfolded emoji included).
It goes without saying that three among Bollywood’s prominent names, including Irrfan Khan, Rishi Kapoor, and Sushant Singh Rajput lost their lives this year.
Whilst the master actor Irrfan Khan and one of Bollywood’s true gems Rishi Kapoor lost their battle with life to serious health ailments, the mighty fine Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise became the subject of incessant suspicion.
And let’s not forget, this was a Bollywood actor’s demise that, to this date, continues to be a polarizing subject with many thinking that he was murdered whilst others suggest it was death by choice (suicide).

A statement from the Apollo Hospitals read: “Mr Rajnikanth has been admitted in the hospital today in the morning. He was shooting for a movie in Hyderabad since the last 10 days. A couple of people on the sets tested positive for Covid-19. Mr Rajnikanth was tested on 22 December for Covid-19 and he was negative. Since then he isolated himself and was monitored closely.”
