The first trailer of Fantastic Beasts sequel The Crimes of Grindelwald was released on March 13th, as promised by the makers and it’s taking the Harry Potter fanatics by storm. Apart from the nostalgic tune and amazing visuals of the Harry Potter world, the Fantastic Beasts trailer shows the younger version of our favourite headmaster Dumbledore (Jude Law).
Fantastic Beasts – The Crimes of Grindelwald is set five years after the first one and in it, the teams of wizards would have to fight against the bad guys of the wizarding world, to save their secret along with the world they’re living in. Even though the trailer majorly revolves around young Dumbledore character, it also features a series of brand new characters along with the old ones.
The clip opens with what appears to be a bunch of Aurors arriving at Hogwarts to question Dumbledore about the whereabouts of the magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne reprises his role). And, it ends with a final look at Johnny Depp’s character – Wizard Gellert Grindelwald. Dumbledore asks Newt to help him fight Grindelwald. “I can’t move against Grindelwald,” Dumbledore tells Newt, “It has to be you.” The first Fantastic Beasts movie ended with Gellert Grindelwald escaping the government’s custody with a plan to set up an army of purebloods to conquer the wizarding world.
