“Tubelight”: Salman Khan’s Another Emotional Performance Wins Our Heart But Resembles “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” A Lot!

“Tubelight” trailer is finally here and after waiting for so long, it has made us happier to watch that Salman Khan is living up to our expectations. Not to forget that “Tubelight” is the last picture of Om Puri and we will get to see his impeccable performance for the last time on screen. The movie which set in the times of India-Pakistan war has more than we expected. When the teaser was dropped on us, rumours have it, that Salman may posses some kind of superpowers but it turns out, the storyline is entirely different.

“Tubelight” is a story of sheer believe. It’s a story of two brothers who aren’t bounded by blood but by soul as well. Salman Khan’s unbreakable bond with Sohail Khan has been projected perfectly. Salman being the younger one, has been showcased as an enthusiastic yet fearful and a little weakling, who becomes lonely when his elder brother leaves to participate in war. The news arrives that all the soldiers of Sohail’s battalion are dead but Salman refuses to believe it. Om Puri advices Salman that the power of belief is stronger than what people think and one can move mountains with it and that’s how Salman turns into a completely different personality and decides to stop this war and bring back his beloved brother.

While we were moved to see the bonding of Salman and Sohail, we couldn’t help but notice that the movie gives away the same feeling as Bajrangi Bhaijaan. It only has a different plot but Salman plays same too good and honest to be true person who believes in the greater good.

The movie features, Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, Zhu Zhu and Om Puri In key roles. “Tubelight” is directed by Kabir Khan and is slated to hit theaters on this EID.
