Salman Khan can easily be considered one of the most powerful, popular and controversial figure in Bollywood, who has not only mastered the art of not being caught by the judiciary in his movies but also in real life.
There have been too many cases against the actor and while nothing was strong enough to get the man behind the bars, they are still being carried out in courts. However, today, almost 20 years after the Blackbuck poaching case, the court has been able to convict the Ek Tha Tiger actor.
This blackbuck poaching case is a highly controversial one with six co-accused people in the case, including Saif Ali Khan, Sonali Bendre, Tabu, Neelam and two others. Salman Khan was accused of killing two blackbucks on October 2, 1998, in Kankani village in Jodhpur while the shooting of Sooraj Barjatya’s Hum Saath Saath Hain.
The court, however, has acquitted all the other co-accused in the case.
The trial of the case has been in progress for the last 19 years and Judge Dev Kumar Khatri reserved the order after the final arguments on March 28. Salman, who has been charged under Section 51 of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, may face six years imprisonment.
Looking at the influence of the case, everyone on the Internet has their view on the verdict. While a huge portion acknowledges how finally a fair verdict has been given, there are some that are raising questions on why only Salman Khan has been convicted in the case, while others were let off. Check out the reactions over here:
A strong competition is here.

After being convicted for a jail sentence for 5 years, Salman Khan arrived with his bodygaurd to a jail in Jodhpur. Interestingly, even Asaram Bapu is completing his jail term in the same jail.
What do you think about the verdict?
