Krishna, the Lord who is said to be the eighth incarnation (Avatar) of Lord Vishnu is worshipped as the major deity in Hinduism. If love is said to be the divinity, then Krishna is the one who breathed life into that. He practically started love as an idea which later on explained as the sole purpose of life by him. In Bhagavad Gita, he explained, “He who has no attachments can really Love others, for his love is pure and divine.” While Krishna was always in love with everything and everyone (even the omens and devils he killed), there is no love like he embraced for Radha.

Love is divided in two Rasa, – Parakiya and Svakiya. While Krishna has always saved Parakiya Rasa for Radha, he took a decision of showering Svakiya Rasa on his wives, especially Rukmani. It is described in Vedas the former one is like gold and later is like iron, hence it can be concluded that the true Love of Krishna was always for Radha.
