We all love seeing Goras on some Indian music numbers, however, watching them donning our regional dances is a completely different thing. And while Bollywood is a constant hit internationally, it’s the regional dance that catches our attention, every freaking time. We just can’t help but admire the beauty of our dance to reach to people, some thousands of miles away and the same feeling came back today when we came across this dance number.
Anze Skrube with his troupe travelled all the way to Dharavi, Mumbai and spent a complete day with the people of Dharavi, which is one of the largest slums in the world and is home to about 1 million people. Skrube and his troupe performed on an unusual number by Panjabi MC – Jogi.
This group of dancers travelled all the way from Los Angeles to Mumbai in November 2016 and decided to dedicate their video and entire performance to the people of Dharavi. Now, they have not only just danced in the streets of Dharavi but are also asking for their fans and audience’s support to make safe water reach the people of Dharavi.

Apart from such a great cause, the troupe did some killer moves and also shook their leg a bit Punjabi-bhangra way, and the inner-Punjabi in me, couldn’t be happier. From the start to the end, you’ll be hooked on this video, that’s my promise.
