Amalienborg
Amalienborg is Denmark’s royal castle and this is where the Danish royal family lives. The Glyptothek is an art museum in Copenhagen with paintings and sculptures from many countries. The museum was founded at the end of the 19th century by Carl Jacobsen, who managed to build one of the largest art collections in the world. Many of the artworks are antique and come from Egypt, Greece, the Middle East and Italy. The museum is divided according to the various art forms that exist worldwide. Tarnet (The Tower)
Tarnet or the tower in Christiansborg Palace was only opened to the public in 2014. The tower climb is free and you have a good view of Copenhagen from up there. Roskilde
The city of Roskilde is about 20 minutes away by train from Copenhagen.
