If you are one of those who loves views from top, especially in mountains, this 326 m or 1,070 feet tall glass elevator in China is the biggest thing of amusement.
This vertigo inducing structure is attached to a cliff and is situated at China’s Zhangjiajie Forest Park. This is world’s tallest outdoor lift Nd is poetically named as ‘hundred dragons sky lift’.
The stunning pictures of the elevator have recently gone viral online and people just can’t get enough of it.
This 326 m tall glass elevator can transport people to top or the ground in less than two minutes. The structure consists of three separate glass apartments which have the capacity of holding 50 people at a time.
The £13mn project, which started in 1999, took three years to build. Though, it was shut down shortly after its opening due to safety reasons. The lift reopened in 2003 and since then has attracted a large number of tourists to the area who are keen to experience one of the most terrifying lifts in the world.
The park is also building what they call it as world’s longest glass-bottomed walkway. The awe-inspiring bridge, which stretches a quarter-of-a-mile above a 980-foot-deep canyon, is set to open to the public in May.
So would you dare to ride world’s tallest lift?
