The countdown for the Samsung Galaxy S8 has started and after witnessing uncountable leaks and rumors, the ‘Next Big Thing’ is going to be in our hands very soon. The Samsung Galaxy S8 presents the company an opportunity to face off against major rivals such as Apple’s iPhone 7 Plus and the LG G6, and the Korean company is also betting on the handset to wipe its record clean after the horrible Galaxy Note 7 debacle, in which the ‘Previous Big Thing’ suffered battery fires and a major recall.
Although the video doesn’t reveal much about Samsung Galaxy S8, it shows the smartphone’s ‘8’ branding and that Samsung is all set to launch the device at its ‘Unboxed’ event in South Korea on March 30, 2017. Interestingly, the company has scheduled an unveiling event named ‘Unpacked’ in New York, US, on 29th March.

The 15-second video features a man who opens a door into space and is greeted with a high definition 3D experience. By this, we are safely assumed that the Samsung Galaxy S8 will feature a better AMOLED display offering class-leading quality. The next thing we deduced from the video is an almost bezel design just like the smartphone-shaped door. Also, the video slightly hints towards an 18:9 (or 2:1) aspect ratio.
