Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Galaxy Note 10+ have finally been announced after a lot of leaks and rumours. While these two devices have now become the new flagships from the South Korean maker, as expected, they pack a lot of upgrades over the Galaxy S10-duo which were launched earlier this year. The key highlights of Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner, 6.3-inch FHD+ (Galaxy Note 10) and 6.8-inch Quad HD+ (Galaxy Note 10+) Curved Dynamic AMOLED Infinity-O Displays, the popular S Pan which has a built-in Lithium-titanite battery that offers 10 hours of usage with a single charge while it still weighs just 3.04 grams.
Both the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ are powered by the Qualcomm octa-core Snapdragon 855 processor (for US) or Samsung’s own Exynos 9 Series 9825 7nm processors depending on the region in which you will be buying the devices. On the other hand, there is also the Samsung Galaxy Note10+ 5G which uses Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 coupled with Snapdragon X50 modem which supports 5G connectivity for both Sub-6 GHz as well as mmWave frequency bands.
Another highlight of the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 are the triple rear cameras which come with a primary 12MP Dual Pixel and Dual Aperture sensor coupled with 16MP Ultra Wide Lens offering 123-degree field of view and a third 12MP Telephoto lens. At the front, there is a 10MP Dual Pixel camera. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Note10 + has an additional DepthVision or ToF camera at the rear that can scan any object in order to turn it into a movable 3D rendering, instantly.
As for the software, Samsung Galaxy Note 10 lineup runs Android 9.0 (Pie) out of the box with OneUI on top while some Samsung services such as Bixby, Samsung Pay, Samsung DeX and Samsung Health comes inbuilt making the devices easier for users to connect their phone to a PC or Mac with just a simple USB connection.
Samsung Galaxy Note 10 and Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ have a glass back with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 protection while they also come with IP68 ratings water and dust resistance rating. The whole packages are backed by a pack 3,500mAh (Note 10) and 4,300mAh (Note 10+) batteries with support for wired fast charging as well as Fast Wireless Charging 2.0 along with the Wireless PowerShare feature in order to charge Qi compatible devices just by placing them on the back of the phones.
The Galaxy Note10+, which is the more premium device out of the two, also supports Super Fast Charging which is claimed to offer a full day’s worth of battery life with 30 minutes of charge since it comes with 45W wired charging capability, however, users will have to buy the 45W charger separately.
