Honor 6A has been unveiled by Huawei in China with price tags of CNY 799 (approx Rs. 7,500) for the 2GB/16GB variant and CNY 999 (approx Rs. 9,400) for the 3GB/ 32GB model of the Honor 6A.
The smartphone is a successor of last year’s Honor 5A and it interestingly comes with a few noteworthy changes. For starters, Honor 6A comes with a metallic back panel rather than a plastic back, but the smartphone is still not fully metallic and you will find plastic on Honor 6A’s body.
While Honor 6 has been a game changer for the Chinese manufacturer in the mid-budget segment, Honor 6A is expected to spread Huawei’s roots in a more competitive as well as one of the most famous categories, the sub-Rs 10,000 segment, as per Indian market.
However, Honor 6A’s Indian launch date has not been revealed as of now but it will surely make a touchdown here and when it does that, Honor 6A will go directly against the likes of Xiaomi Redmi 4A, Micromax Canvas Mega 2 Plus, Lenovo K6 Power and even the Redmi Note 4, which is believed to be have sold more than a million units in India.
But to compete with a bunch of smartphones that have already made their mark in the sub-Rs 10,000 segment, Honor 6A will have to had ‘it’ and by the looks of it, the smartphones seems to pack a nice package.
