Samsung is the market leader, Huawei is catching up Fast. Apple is yet to deliver in 2019.
Some swear allegiance by the iPhone, others are eagerly waiting for the launch of the new top cell phones like Huawei Mate or Samsung Galaxy. But which one is the best smartphone 2019? The year is not over yet and there are still exciting new phones to be launched in 2019.
About every fourth device comes from Samsung. Most smartphones have been sold by Samsung so far in 2019. Samsung has sold nearly 72 million mobile phones in three months capturing a market share of about 23 percent. Almost every fourth mobile phone is a Samsung device. Samsung is satisfied with the start-up sales of the current flagship Samsung Galaxy S10 and also the Galaxy A50 is gladly bought.
Competition from China
Smartphone manufacturer Huawei is on the rise in 2019 although not the number 1 in the market. In early 2019, the Chinese manufacturer was even able to overtake Apple and secure a market share of 19 percent with almost 60 million phones sold in the first quarter. Huawei delivered twice as many devices in the first quarter of 2019 as in the first quarter of 2018.
The biggest strength of Huawei is the balanced range of cell phones in every price range. The draft horses are currently Huawei P30 and P30 Pro, but that does not automatically mean that all Huawei’s customers stock up on the flagship. Even the slimmed-down versions of the Huawei P30 Lite and the previous year’s models P20 or Mate 20 are in high demand among buyers. The Chinese manufacturer originally wanted to be the market leader in cell phones by 2021 however there they faced a huge blow when the Huawei was banned in the USA.
Is Apple on the decline?
The downfall of Apple is actually predicted every year, but it has not occurred so far. Nevertheless, the iPhone numbers do not look very good in comparison. Huawei has overtaken Apple clearly, in the first quarter went only 36.4 million iPhones over the counter, that is over 30 percent reduction in sales.
Apparently, Apple did not succeed in using the iPhone XS to animate enough existing users to upgrade. The marker is full of discussions of 5G or foldable smartphones, but it is still quiet at Apple. However, fingers crossed at Apple as the new iPhones 2019 are yet to come.
Best SmartPhone 2019 from Samsung
Unsurprisingly, the Samsung Galaxy S10 Plus is currently the best mobile phone of 2019. It impresses with its powerful performance, features and cool design. Also, considering that more and more users are looking for a phone with a good camera, Samsung plays well.
Just behind the S10 Plus ranks the smaller Samsung Galaxy S10 and attractive to a little more price-conscious users, there is Samsung Galaxy S10e. The Note 9 from last year, still has a diehard fan base in 2019, but they are certainly waiting for the Note10.
Best SmartPhone 2019 from Huawei
At Huawei, P30 Pro is currently setting the pace and re-establishing the market and technological standards. It is the best Huawei phone so far 2019 and not too far behind is the little brother, Huawei P30 in direct comparison. Huawei Mate 20 Pro is a well sold phone but the upgrade is about to be launched this autumn :The Mate 30 Pro. That should overtake the P30 Pro in terms of performance and size and could become the absolute top smartphone from Huawei. It would be a surprise if this is not the best smartphone of 2019 – at least the best of the Chinese manufacturer.
Best smartphone 2019 from Apple
Apple has not yet presented iPhone novelties in 2019, this traditionally happens in the fall. The best iPhone is currently the XS Max, behind it ranks XS and then iPhone XR. But these are all models from the year 2018. After facing crisis with the sales this year, Apple now has to pull out a trump card from the sleeve, such as a significantly improved camera or foldable screen or something that would set the market standards again. But what exactly will be in iPhone 11 or iPhone XR 2? Apple knows or God knows.
Google’s Best SmartPhone 2019
Google has surprised everyone with the idea of the Pixel 3a, because first Google said goodbye to the upper class and delivered a smartphone for more price-conscious users. Although, the Pixel 3a is not cheap, but it has a good screen, a decent camera and is supplied with Android updates for three years, after all, it runs with the in-house product, The Android One. The updates are so far, a weak point, with Android smartphones except for the upper class phones. Google will certainly refill and bring the Google Pixel 4 again as a competitor against Apple, Huawei and Samsung.
Top smartphone at a cheaper price
Whoever wants to get a top smartphone cheaper, has to pay attention to a few things. Immediately after the launch of new devices, the prices are highest. When the first hype is over, the prices go down and that applies to all Android smartphones and sometimes also for Apple. So, if you are not in dire need of a new top of the line smartphone and want to save some money as well, wait for sometime and get your favourite phone for a cheaper price.
There are also good offers on slightly older models of any cell phone. What you should also keep in mind is just because a manufacturer introduces a new smartphone does not mean that the existing ones are suddenly bad or old tech. The Huawei P20, P20 Pro or Mate 20 Pro are still great devices in 2019 and have almost halved their original price.
