Dell’s new 17-inch laptop is also a tablet and it is not at all an ultra-portable hybrid machine. A computer that is 2-in-1 means it is both tablet and a laptop and new Inspiron 7000 by Dell is both but a bit much heavier than we thought.
The 17-inch beast weighs about as much as two 13-inch Ultrabooks. It is the world’s first 17-inch convertible according to Dell. The convertible boasts an aluminum exterior shell and a full HD display. It has a sixth-generation Intel Core processor and its display has a wide viewing angle.
The Inspiron 7000 includes a backlit keyboard and uses USB Type-C ports which in turn can serve as adapters for HDMI. The device has an infra-red front-facing camera that is compatible with Windows Hello. It also includes Waves MaxxAudio Pro audio software, VGA Displays and backup batteries.
The convertible has a screen that rotates 360 degrees and has a hub of USB 3.0 ports. Dell clearly targeted different groups of consumers such as budding entrepreneurs, households, students and corporate users.
Whatever you want to create and imagine can be achieved with this 2 in 1 laptop and even if you don’t feel like switching to Windows 10’s tablet, you can always buy it when you feel like experimenting.
