The Indian star of boxing, Vijender Singh continues to win in the professional arena with an easy win over Alexander Horvath of Hungary. On Saturday evening at the Liverpool Echo Arena Vijender Singh saved another win on his name by defeating Alexander Horvath.
The Indian boxer dominated the fight as the Alexander Horvath of Hungary was forced to retire around minute into the third round after a power pack punch hit his left shoulder by Vijender.
This was the fourth win of Vijender Singh in a row in professional boxing; He won all the four matches by knockout or technical knockout.
The Hungarian boxer was more aggressive where Vijender was a bit tentative. In the opening round the Indian boxer measured the strategy of his opponent and later Vijender knocked him off with some powerful blows in the closing stage of the first round.
Horvath seemed exhausted in the second round and Vijender adopted a cautious approach to analyse but the Indian supporters in Arena were very vocal and they were cheering out loud.
In the third round both the boxers came out swinging but when Vijender caught Horvath on the left shoulder, he forced the Hungarian boxer onto his knees. As the referee was giving the count to the Hungarian boxer he gave up and refused to carry the fight. The sizeable Indian supporters among the crowd erupted with joy as Vijender won.
