Sania Mirza, India’s tennis star has recently completed 80 consecutive weeks as the number 1 double players in the world. But looks like the former Indian cricketer and current commentator Sanjay Manjrekar doesn’t like the ‘Idea of’ Sania being Happy about it as both of them exchanged fiery words on Twitter over this topic.
Well, on Tuesday, Sania took twitter to announce her achievement. She also expressed how happy she was:
Today I complete 80 consecutive weeks as the number 1 player in d world👆its been an amazing journey and just inspires me to work harder @WTA pic.twitter.com/BsHoeU0YAT

Manjrekar must have seen the tweet and while congratulating Sania, he added a taunt, that she was No. 1 in the doubles category.
No 1 doubles player you mean. Congrats! https://t.co/Qrdyigdrro

But of course, Sania does not like the taunt and responded with sarcasm by telling Manjrekar that it is obvious as she plays doubles only. Although she thanked him for the wishes.
Since I don't play singles anymore isn't that obvious/common sense?my bad,common sense is not that common after all I guess.. 🙂 https://t.co/fXhnaQZEM7

Manjrekar tried to make a comeback as he supported his tweet with a good reason and said that Sania missed an important detail, but Sania gave him the taste of his own medicine. She hit back as she provided a link to an article from the official Women’s Tennis Association website to fill Manjrekar with all the details.
Well, you missed out an important detail for someone like me who lacks common sense 🙂 https://t.co/nLgRFONxrn

Clearly!!! So here you go https://t.co/vRE2vmk1ka .. An article with all the 'important details' .. 🙂 https://t.co/lZTGBSsUNA

Yes, the article also says No. 1 doubles player in the world. Said what I had to, will leave all balls outside the off stump alone now 😊👋🏽 https://t.co/LP37fxYE0s

Later, the former cricketer realised that it’s better to end things happily and he surrendered but till then, there were many who aggressively expressed their opinion on twitter.

A lot of headlines stating 'Kohli led India to No.1 in ICC rankings.' Nobody had to tell you it was in Tests @MirzaSania
