Cristiano Ronaldo was out from La Liga due to some health issues but here is the good news. The Real Madrid player completed Monday’s training session as he stepped up his bid to be fit. Cristiano Ronaldo will be playing for Wednesday’s Champions League semi-final second leg against Manchester City.
The football player sat out last week’s goalless draw at the Etihad Stadium, he was experiencing a thigh injury which also kept him out of Saturday’s 1-0 Primera Division win at Real Sociedad.
Cristiano Ronaldo completed training on Sunday as he participated with his teammates for the first half before working individually for the remainder. The Portugal captain was able to complete a full part in Monday’s session.
The news of Cristiano Ronaldo coming back to the game looks promising for Madrid. But the news of featuring Karim Benzema against City is still less clear.
Cristiano Ronaldo was replaced in the first leg against City at half-time as he suffered from a hamstring problem. Now he will be playing in the second leg against Manchester City.
His fans are thrilled as they will be watching him score in La Liga again.
