Ravindra Jadeja, the sensational Indian bowler against whom each and every opposition finds its hard to stand for a long time, has done it again in the India vs Australia 3rd Test as he registered a 5-wicket haul and conceded just 124 runs in his almost 50-overs long spell.
Ravindra Jadeja has always been a great fielder with good arms in the Indian team. He is quick and up-to-the-mark during a ball chase and we got to witness his brilliance during the last stage of Aussies’ innings and gave the Ranchi crowd a glimpse of MS Dhoni’s brilliant presence of mind. India’s most successful skipper has left the Captain’s cap and the responsibility has now shifted on Virat Kohli’s shoulder. But, it seems like Dhoni’s leadership has left an ineradicable mark on his men. Ravindra Jadeja stepped out further from the crease to receive the ball instead of waiting for it to come to him behind the stumps and ran out Josh Hazlewood.
We all remember MS Dhoni’s dismissal of Ross Taylor which was another addition to the wicket-keeper’s collection and for those who don’t remember it, take a look at Mahi’s conjuring wicket-keeping magic during the ODI series between India and New Zealand at the same venue in 2016.

And on the second day of the ongoing India vs Australia 3rd Test, fans were treated to a nostalgic moment when our very own Ravindra Jadeja ran out Hazlewood in a similar fashion to that of MS Dhoni.
Coming back to the game, India is trailing Australia by 331 runs and at the second-day stumps, the hosts stood at 120/1. Lokesh Rahul (67) gave a good start to the Indian innings and all eyes will be set on Murali Vijay (42*) on the 3rd day as he is playing his 50th International Test match. Cheteshwar Pujara who is unbeaten at 10 runs, will accompany him.
