Virender Sehwag has been ruling Indian Twitterati hearts with some of the most hilariously amusing birthday wishes and light hearted trolls that we have seen in recent times. The former Indian batsman was a ‘force to reckon with’ during his cricketing days and furthermore, his current innings on Twitter’s pitch is giving us a field day that we are enjoying to the fullest.
While every Twitter shot by Virender Sehwag has been well received by his fans, his verbal spat with British Television star, Piers Morgan was one of the most retweeted ones ever.
It all started when Piers Morgan trolled the celebrations in the country when P.V Sindhu and Sakshi Malik clinched a Silver and Bronze respectively at Rio Olympics.
Country with 1.2 billion people wildly celebrates 2 losing medals. How embarrassing is that? https://t.co/FYSBM7ErAf

The tweet was not well received by Indian fans and Virender Sehwag gave a befitting reply to Morgan.
We cherish every small happiness',
But Eng who invented Cricket,&yet2win a WC,still continue to playWC.Embarrassing? https://t.co/0mzP4Ro8H9— Virender Sehwag (@virendersehwag) August 24, 2016
That was it, one of the biggest twitter trolling series was triggered and Virender Sehwag came out as a winner every time.
Hi @virendersehwag, I bet you 1 million rupees to charity that England wins a ODI World Cup before India wins another Olympic Gold. Accept?

And Then came the Kabaddi World Cup!!
India won the tournament and Virender Sehwag launched another missile from his Twitter account that was more powerful than the Hiroshima and Nagasaki ones.(Pun)
India invented Kabaddi & r World Champs for 8th time.Elsewhere some country invented Cricket & r yet only good in correcting typos.#INDvIRN pic.twitter.com/IG9fucAMMo

Kabaddi's not really a sport, @virendersehwag – it's just a load of grown men running around slapping each other.
— Piers Morgan (@piersmorgan) October 22, 2016
Mate, we invented Darts & Curling but I wouldn't boast about being 'World Champions' at them. https://t.co/4PIlEKubpD

I hope India & Eng never meet in a cricket WC Final. Otherwise if India will win @piersmorgan will refuse to accept cricket as a sport.

These are just the highlights of the Virender Sehwag vs Piers Morgan series 2016 and when the former took to Twitter, asking fans and followers for their moments of joy with him in 2016, it was Piers Morgan who praised Virender Sehwag for increasing the former’s fan base.
Tweet the best moments you had with me this year. How did I contribute to joy in your life ?
Please share tweet screenshots, moments u liked— Virender Sehwag (@virendersehwag) December 31, 2016

This is the one ‘so called’ friendship that Twitterati never expected to see in 2017 but, we are glad it has happened. It’s primarily because we all love and ‘appreciate’ good trolling in today’s digital age and it is the most probable reason we are regularly hooked to Twitter.
However, Virender Sehwag showed his generosity and ditched the duel in the most humorous and sarcastic way possible.
Cheers! India has a big heart .
Enjoy ! https://t.co/BEwgLQj3N8— Virender Sehwag (@virendersehwag) December 31, 2016
