BCCI is on a verge of surprising world whether with their creative ideas to announce the team or shifting the third ODI between India and New Zealand. The third ODI between India and New Zealand which was due to happen on 19 October has been shifted a day after and the reason is incredible.
BCCI shifted the third ODI due to ‘Karva Chauth‘ festival. DDCA vice president and Senior BCCI vice president CK Khanna gave the confirmation that BCCI has agreed to shift the ODI for one day.
He said, “We are thankful to BCCI for accepting our request of shifting the date by a day.”
He added that he has received a letter of acknowledgement for the same from the BACK office.
DDCA had written a letter to Ajay Shirke, the secretary of BCCI, intimating the board about the practical difficulties of organising the match on the day of a festival prevalent in North India.
If the match was scheduled for 19, the tickets sales would have taken a hit.
