Last night’s IPL match between Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore and MS Dhoni’s Chennai Super King was nothing short of a super-exciting roller coaster ride. There were ups and downs, and too many of them, and in the end all accounted for a progress no one saw coming.
CSK won the match against Virat’s RCB and it was yet another exception, MSD-like win, where the crucial runs are always taken with last boy sixes or fours. Dhoni scored a winning six that went off the roofs and left everyone in the stadium ecstatic. Fans removed their t-shirts in support, while other’s chanted Dhoni’s name for a match like no other.
And, while each and everything about the match might be forgotten one day, there’s one moment that has etched a mark on cricket lover’s memory for forever. It was this image of Virat Kohli and Dhoni’s bromance that swooned the viewers away. Not surprisingly, the pure ‘bromance’ moment resulted in a flurry on social media, especially Twitter, wherein many rose up to the occasion and went to town turning the picture into hilarious memes right away!
While some compared the picture with other photos of similar context, others added hilarious descriptions to the image and turned it into a masterpiece of a kind. Here are some of the best reactions to the image.

Apart from all this, Dhoni’s winning six was another moment that sparked an enthusiasm in the crowd, they’re cheering and looked extremely happy with the win. Along with the fans, even Dhoni’s wife Sakshi was also seen being extremely happy, and so did Dhoni’s other teammates. Check out the video over here.

Reflecting on his team’s performance, Dhoni admitted that he had initially thought that the chase is going to be a really difficult one but his partnership with Ambati Rayudu laid the foundation of a chase that he and Bravo later pounced on. Whereas, Kohli in the post-match presentation was all praises for Dhoni as the former Indian captain produced trade-mark hitting to further dent RCB’s hopes of reaching the playoffs.
