Ajinkya Rahane‘s continuous impressive knocks are finally paying him off. He jumped three places and made it to the top-10 in batsman’s list of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Test rankings, released on Monday.
His impressive performance in the third Test against the West Indies lifted Indian middle order mainstay Ajinkya Rahane to the eighth spot in the latest ICC test rankings. He is the only Indian in the top-10 led by Australian skipper Steve Smith.
India’s Test skipper Virat Kohli, who was at the 13th spot on the ranking dropped three places and went from 13th to 16th place.
In the bowler’s list, India’s Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja were static at 2nd and 6th position. James Anderson is on the top spot of the bowler’s list.
