Tamim Iqbal became the latest sensation of T20 World Cup 2016 as he smashed his first century in the tournament. Tamim made an unbeaten score of 103 runs off 63 balls and his innings send Oman out of the competition.
Bangladesh won the qualifier and beaten Oman by 54 runs. They have secured the final place in the Super 10s of T20 World Cup 2016. As the winner, Bangladesh joins India, Australia, South Africa and Pakistan in the group A for the next phase of the tournament.
Tamim’s century was an extraordinary standout effort which led Bangladesh to keep their position in the game. Tamim’s splendid innings in a wet and drab day of Dharamshala brought a joyous celebration for the team of Bangladesh. 2. Suresh Raina
Suresh Raina is the only Indian Batsman who scored a century in a T20 World Cup 2010. Suresh smashed a stunning 101 runs off 60 balls against South Africa at Gros Islet. His astonishing innings including 9 boundaries and 5 sixes created history and included his name among a few batsmen who have scored a century.

3. Mahela Jayawardene
In 2010, Mahela Jayawardene scored a blazing century against Zimbabwe at Providence. The batsmen scored a stunning total o0f 100 runs off 64 balls including 10 boundaries and 4 sixes. He became the first Batsman of Sri Lanka to smash a century in T20 World Cup.

4. Brendon McCullum
In 2012, in a match against Bangladesh, Brendon McCullum smashed a total of 123 runs and became the first player from New Zealand to score a 100 in a T20 world Cup. McCullum smashing innings with 11 boundaries and 7 sky high sixes recorded his name in the history of cricket.

5. Alex Hales
Alex Hales of England was the next one to strike a 100 in T20 World Cup. In 2014, Alex struck 116 runs off 64 balls including 11 boundaries and 6 sixes against Sri Lanka at Chittagong. Alex recorded his name on the short list of players from all countries to have scored a century in T20 World Cup.

6. Ahmed Shehzad
In the same year 2014, a Pakistani batsman Ahmed Shehzad scored a century against Bangladesh in Dhaka. Ahmed smashed 111 runs off 62 balls. His astonishing batting included 10 boundaries and 5 sixes and he became the 6th player to hold this record.
