Over the course of the weekend, things all over the world changed. The United States of America bid adieu to Barack Obama and they got a new president, Donald Trump.
On his first day in office, i.e. on Saturday, a lot of things went down. Women all over the world were marching against the misogyny and sexism as well as for their rights, and Saturday Night Live (SNL) was telecasted. SNL, which first debuted in 1975 and is currently in its 42nd season, had its first South Asian host, Aziz Ansari.
Ansari is a well-known Indian-American comedian who also has an Emmy to his name and he gave one of the greatest monologues in SNL’s history, just a day after Trump’s swearing.

Aziz started his monologue and said, “Pretty cool to know though that he’s probably at home right now watching a brown guy making fun of him.” Apart from this, Ansari also called Trump as the Chris Brown of Politics and added that “Make America Great Again” is his “These Hoes Ain’t Loyal”.
