Michael Clarke, the former Australian captain and cricketing legend, is enjoying every bit of his Indian tour as part of the commentator team and as India vs Australia second test is all set to be kicked off at M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, Clarke was seen cherishing something that he wouldn’t get to experience at home. What’s that? Well as hilarious as it may sound, it is the art of driving an Auto-Rickshaw.
Interestingly, Michael Clarke made his Test debut at the same venue, slamming 151 runs in the very first innings, way back in 2004 when Australia toured India for a series. He later on went and registered two half centuries in the third test at Nagpur, making that Border-Gavaskar Trophy Tournament his breakthrough series. What made his debut more special was, the then Indian team features legends like Zaheer Khan, Harbhajan Singh and Anil Kumble, against whom Michael Clarke roared.
The 2015 World Cup-winning captain, who has represented Australia in 115 Tests and 245 One-day Internationals during his 12 years-long career, recently shared a video with a caption “Mastered the art of driving the tuk tuk Nice to be back in Bengaluru where it all started ,” through his Facebook account where he can clearly be seen learning to drive an auto-rickshaw and even mastering the art.
As for the India vs Australia Border Gavaskar Trophy, the second test is scheduled at M Chinnaswamy Stadium and will commence on 4th March,2017. After suffering from a humiliating loss at the hands of Aussies, the Virat Kohli-led side will be looking for a comeback in the series.
