Shashikanta Das, Economics Affairs Secretary, announced on Thursday that all denominations of currency notes Rs 1000 would be brought back into the system. However, these new notes will have a different design and a different colour combination. The conference, in which the statement was made, had many other important personalities like Finance Minister – Arun Jaitley.
Arun Jaitley said, that no one would face any kind of harassment for small deposits. People can deposit money in their accounts till 31st December. He also said that the banks would remain open on this weekend, for people’s convenience, as well as the work timings have also been extended in certain banks and branches.

Demonetization of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 currency notes, has been constantly in news because of many new revelations with them. The earlier rumours of Rs 2000 having a GPS tracking chip, have also been cleared by Reserve Bank Of India.

The whole news of scrapping a certain kind of denominations had different effects on different people. While many are happy about it, and can see it working against black money. There are some, who have come under a huge dilemma of how to keep on things working. People who have big functions in their home (like marriages and engagements), the rural as well as the urban poor, are the main ones under the constraints of this action.
