New Delhi: Launching a scathing attack on Narendra Modi led NDA government over soaring prices of pulses; Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi gave a brand new slogan – ‘Arhar Modi, Har Har Modi’ on Thursday.
While concluding his speech in the Parliament today over price rise issue, Rahul said, “A new slogan is being used nowadays, Har har Modi, arhar Modi! Arhar Modi, har har Modi,”
He further hit at the other schemes started by the NDA government saying, “You can make false claims on Startup India, Make in India, but not on rising prices.”
During his speech, Rahul Gandhi also gave a comparative statistics of prices during UPA and NDA rule and said, “I want to remind PM Modi about a promise he made to everyone, and now has forgotten. He said he would bring down the prices of essential commodities”

The Gandhi scion also took a jibe at PM Modi’s speech during general election campaign where he said he would not be the Prime Minister but watchman. Rahul said that now pulses are being stolen under the nose of the watchman.
In the end, he asked PM Modi to give a final date to the house when the prices of pulses will come down.
Notably, as per the close party sources, Rahul Gandhi is all set to be elevated as the Congress President. As per media a report, the party has done all the preparations and the Gandhi scion might take the oath for the post in August.
