1. People won’t be able to register for a new car without proper proof of adequate parking space.
A new rule from the Centre is going to pass soon which states that one can’t register for a new car without proper proof of adequate parking space for the vehicle. This measure has been taken with the aim of clearing public spaces and lowering the level of pollution. Illegal parking is one of the biggest issues that people from cities like New Delhi, Gurgaon, Mumbai, Bangalore and Chennai face.
2. Almost 67.54 Lakh people hadn’t paid their taxes in the year 2014-15, despite making huge transactions.
Nearly 67.54 Lakh had not paid their taxes in the 2014-15 financial year, in spite of making the high-value transactions. The Income Tax department has identified these people through the data carried out by the Central Board of Direct Taxes. The I-T department would soon take actions against these people.
3. Syrian Army has taken full control of Aleppo after four years.
The army said that after four years, they have full control over the Aleppo which is their biggest victory against the opposition forces since the civil war in the year 2011. President Bashar-al-Assad said that this victory is a shared one between Iran, Syria and Russia.
4. Sunny Leone will receive PETA’s Person of the Year Award.
Sunny Leone would be receiving PETA’s Person of the Year Award for her adherence to promote the rescue of homeless dogs and cats. Earlier social figures like Kapil Sharma, Shashi Tharoor, R Madhavan and Hema Malini have received the award for their love and compassion towards the animals around us.
5. 70 people have been rescued from being trafficked in Bastar.
Bastar child protection authority has rescued 70 people, including 33 children while they were being trafficked and sold as bonded labourers. The police have arrested five people behind this trafficking racket and acted on a tip-off by anti-trafficking campaigners in the region. The rescued children have been sent to a rehabilitation centre, from which they would be sent to their respective homes.
6. Sensex wobbles after days of growth.
BSE’s Benchmark, Sensex lost 64.19 points during the early trade on Friday and came to 25,915.41 points due to weak Asian cues and sectoral indices in FMCG sector. NSE’s 50 company benchmark, Nifty also dropped to 7,955.50 points after a 23.60 pointer loss.
