Hope or no hope? Positive or negative? How has the current scenario concerning Coronavirus changed in India, provided, it has, for at the moment, one just doesn’t know!
What does the current trajectory look like given the number of Coronavirus cases in India? Not a day goes by, frankly speaking, where one doesn’t think or ponder about the current situation considering the outbreak of the deadly COVID-19 in India.
Isn’t it?
Especially in the aftermath of the Prime Minister’s latest address to the nation, where it was revealed that for the entirety of this current month, leading upto early May, the state of lockdown will persist, one has wondered about the probability whether any of the following could happen to India:
- Will the country experience another announcement of the currently imposed lockdown, meaning there could be another stretch given the number of days given the lockdown?
- Is something better on the cards, in the sense that things will improve for the better or that the country will finally begin to sense something better and bright in the imminent future?
That being said, the following is what most print dailies and digital news organisations had to say given the number of Coronavirus cases in India:
At present, there are 10,197 active coronavirus patients in the country while 1,343 have been discharged or cured from the highly contagious disease.
While surely, India’s concern is nowhere really close to that of Europe, wherein the entire continent is actually accounting for nearly 70 percent of the overall Coronavirus cases, there’s a lot that needs to be done by India.
At present, there are 10,197 active patients in the country while 1,343 have been discharged or cured from the highly contagious disease. One patient has migrated from the country.
Talking about the origin on the virus, R Gangakhedkar, Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) said,“As per research in China, it was found that coronavirus might have originated due to mutation in bats. Bats might have transmitted it to pangolins and from pangolins it got transmitted to humans.”
That being said, whether or not the current Coronavirus epidemic in India is really a strange and worrying figure can be simply understood by the fact that in the past few hours, the overall states with 1000-plus Coronavirus cases have increased to four.
So in addition to Delhi, Maharashtra, even Tamil Nadu and Rajasthan have reported to 1000 plus confirmed cases of Coronavirus in India.
