Brussels terrorist attackers carried explosives devices in suitcases on a luggage cart at Zaventem airport. Belgian newspaper La Derniere exposed this news to the world. The Newspaper quoted the Mayor Francis Vermeiren of Zaventem who stated that the alleged suspects are clearly visible in a photograph of surveillance camera of the airport. They arrived at the airport by taxi with suitcases with the explosive devices inside.
According to EFE news agency they carried those suitcases on trolleys and the first two bombs exploded.
According to Vermeiren, the third bomb was placed in a travel bag on the top of luggage cart but the alleged suspect “must have panicked, it did not explode”.
The taxi driver who drove these terrorists to the airport told that these alleged terrorists did not let him touch their luggage when he asked them to help with it, according to the Het Laatste Nieuws newspaper. The same source indicates that the original plan of these alleged terrorists was to travel with five suitcases to Zaventem.
These suspects had asked for a large car but when the driver came with a small one, they got angry because five suitcases could not fit in that car, according to the driver.
The driver remembered these three alleged terrorists from the surveillance footage and contacted the police after the attack. State police were led to the Schaerbeek district of Brussels later as driver reported that he picked them from there.
The surveillance footage in the airport recorded the footage in which each of the three men is pushing luggage cart.
At least 34 people died in the blast and over 200 people got injured in a series of explosions at the main airport of Brussels and in a metro station on Tuesday.
