Sonam Kapoor’s Aisha was a movie that raved mixed reviews from all over the country, however, it gave us one really cool character and that was Shefali Thakur, played by Amrita Puri.
Shefali as a character was quirky and resonated with thousands of girls who are bubbly and fail to see anything bad in people around them. Also, she was quite desperate to get married to a great guy and simply settle in her life. Well, guess what? She actually did, and that too IRL.
Amrita Puri recently got married to her restaurateur beau Imrun Sethi at the Antara Riverside Resort in Bangkok, and the photos from their wedding are really beautiful, without any exaggeration. The couple looked elegant and just perfect for each other, and so were their wedding attires that perfectly complimented each other.
The couple tied the knot in a Sikh wedding with pastel decor complementing the mix well.
Amrita Puri wore a Sabyasachi lehenga from the designer’s Udaipur collection, while the groom wore an off-white sherwani with a pista-green turban.
Apart from this, the bride replaced white and red flowers for her phoolon ki chadar with pretty pink and white roses, and the entrance looked straight out of a fairytale book.
After the wedding, she quickly changed into a beautiful green outfit with a stunning mathapatti.
Prior to the wedding and reception, Amrita wore an easy-breezy outfit for her mehndi function and looked absolutely cool in it.
In the end, we would like to wish both Amrita and Imrun a happy married life and all the blessing for their future together.
