Game Of Thrones is one TV series that brings out the worst in people, in terms of spoilers, and continues to keep people on the edge of their seats throughout the show, on the look for who will be next to die. It has also given us some really talented and extremely attractive actors to hate, root for and crush on.
Along with that, Game of Thrones has also been able to give us some of the worst nightmares possible. Whoever has seen that episode from Season 4 when The Mountain kills Oberyn Martell by crushing his skull, would know exactly what I am talking about.
Coming to The Mountain, a.k.a Ser Gregor Clegane, who is played by Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, is one strong man on the show who has time and again shown his strength and power, in terms of killing someone while using the least amount of strength. Not only that, The Mountain from the show was popular for one more reason and that was the title that he had to his name for the longest time. He was Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson was known to be the 3rd strongest man in the world. But on Sunday, he defeated that title and became the World’s strongest man. He won the title at an annual event at the Philippines and immediately shared the news with his audience and fans. Björnsson had broken a thousand-year-old Viking record in 2015 by lifting a 32 feet, 1433 pound log on his shoulders for five steps. The previous record holder was supposedly a certain Orm Storulfsson, a legendary Icelandic Viking who had carried a mast of the ship with similar dimensions and specifications for three steps before breaking his back.
While earlier it was decided that his character would be dead somewhere in the middle, he continues to live in the show, though with very rare scene amounting to his presence on the show.
