Ranbir Kapoor has to be one of the most talented actors in the industry as of now, though his recent films have tanked at the box office. However, one just can’t forget the acting Ranbir delivered in movies like Barfi, Rockstar and many more. He has been great in those movies and one could just see the level of commitment Kapoor gives to his characters, movies, and makers. Something that has been appreciated by his fellow actors, directors, and people around him.
His next flick is also considered to be a great movie, considering it is made by one of the most talented director-producer duo in the industry – Rajkumar Hirani and Vidhu Vinod Chopra. Ranbir Kapoor would next be seen in Sanjay Dutt biopic, titled Sanju and the viewers are already excited about its arrival, since the release of its teaser.
Now a brand new snippet from his next movie is here and we’re again very excited about the role Ranbir is working on on this movie.
Shamshera first look has been released by YRF movies and it looks quite interesting. Ranbir plays the role of a dacoit called Shamshera and he leads an army of men and women to give results to his aims.
The movie is being produced by Yash Raj Films and would be directed by Karan Malhotra. Malhotra has directed movies like Brothers and Agneepath in the past and was also roped in to direct Karan Johar’s Shuddhi which has been shelved for now.
The full name of the movie is “Shamsheer – Karam se Dacait, Dharam Se Azad”

Kapoor is not in his usual chocolate lover boy avatar and channels a much more gritty and true to reality version of a dacoit, avatar. And, he will start shooting for the movie, post-Sanju release.
Ranbir as quite a few movies that will release in the next coming months, there’s Rajkumar Hirani’s Sanju. Then, Ranbir has already finished the shooting for Ayan Mukherjee’s Brahmastra, in which he will be seen opposite Alia Bhatt.
Though the female lead in Shamshera has not been announced yet, as per certain reports, the movie is said to be released somewhere around Holi next year.
