‘Bhagavad Gita’, a book that carries answers to our complicated lives. The sacred verses written in it hold the loftiest wisdom for the whole of humanity recited by Lord Krishna himself. It can help you get through any trouble, difficulty or challenge in your life. Bhagavad Gita or the Song Divine consists of the eternal message that gives mankind the Path to lead a purposeful and confident life on earth.
There are many religions and paths for people where each one describes God in its own way. The more are the concepts and philosophies, the more people become confused about the right path. People tend to get confuse which is the best one to adopt.
Here are two simplest yet powerful verses from ‘Bhagavad Gita’ that removes the confusion and gives you the right concept of leading a successful life on earth.
The first one of the most striking verses in the ‘Bhagavad Gita’ is:
“Ananyas Chintayanto Ma Yejana Paryupasate, Tesham Nityabhi Yuktanam Yoga Kshemam Vahamyaham”
Where the lord says that he takes care of both material and spiritual welfare of the individuals who constantly think of him with the exclusion of everything else.
Lord Krishna here defines that God constantly keeps a watch on the welfare of his devotees if the devotee totally surrenders himself to God. The devotee should stay free of any worries and if he practises what the lord said he can demonstrate the highest quality of life. To accomplish the result one must fully grasp the message and fix his devotion to the godhead.
In another verse Lord Krishna prescribed the highest form of Sadhana for man:
“Sarva Dharman Parityajya Mam Ekam Sharanam Vraja, Aham Tva Sarva Papebhyo Moksha Ikshyami Mashucha”
Arjuna asked Lord Krishna, what is the right form of spiritual practice that a man must follow in life. Krishna said that leave all the other forms of Spiritual practices (‘Dharma’) and take refuge in me alone. Krishna said, ‘I shall remove all your sins and present the highest state of liberation to you.
The assurance from Krishna in this verse clears that one should devote himself to him and he is the only ‘Dharma’ we need to follow in life.
When you cultivate total belief in God and keep following it, you grow in spirituality. The more you mature, the more you stay stable and fearless.
‘Bhagavad Gita’ is said to be eternal and it is relevant for all places, all men/women and all times.
Even today if you follow these two verses where you cultivate your faith in the Lord and sincerely fulfil your duties in life, you can achieve the greatest success.
