Movies world is nothing less than a labyrinth, it has got all sorts of the storylines. The good and bad, hate and romance, avenge and revenge, action, and power, simple and perplexing, oh god! There is no topic in the world that you can name and won’t find a movie already on it. Then what makes most watched movies so peculiar that people watch them over and over again?
Well, we haven’t done a survey but we are taking a hunch here, a powerful storyline, appropriate cast, and music that compliments the whole concept. Of course, there are other things from direction to costumes, locations to editing but the key ingredients of most watched movies will always be story, cast, and music.

A high school rom-com musical which was a huge success of its time. One of the very first of this genre. The music was a blockbuster and the movie was both critically and commercially acclaimed.
2. The Shawshank Redemption, 1994
A man who hadn’t commit the crime and still serving two consecutive life terms in prison forms a friendship with another criminal in the jail and learn to cope up with the brutality of prison life. It is one of the best of most watched movies list. People still take inspiration from this one.
3. Titanic, 1997
Do we really need to give a reason here? The love story of Jack and Rose is a saga and it is said that Titanic is by arguably the most romantic movie ever. It’s a shame if you don’t have this one on your most watched movies list.
4. The Godfather, 1972
This one is a cult mob drama. An Italian-American crime family who is trying to get a hold of their son while he is struggling to learn the tactics of the criminal world. The dialogues of this one need all ears and you might end up learning a thing or two about life.
5. Pulp Fiction, 1994
Another crime movie that has two hitmen and their lives revolve around their boss, the don. A lot of action and drama in here but it puts up a decent storyline, probably that’s how it landed on the list of most watched movies.
6. Avatar, 2009
Now this one owes its position to the brilliant mind-blowing graphics. CReating the whole new world with the help of technology and also blending it with a good script was one of the best things the makers could have ever come up with. This one is a must, must watch.
7. Harry Potter and The Sorcerer’s Stone, 2001
Who doesn’t love little Harry? We all do, so much so, that we have a community called potter heads. The first installment of the movie was watched over and over again throughout the world and we still have kids or even adults who don’t mind a magical potter weekend.
