Mumbai is known for being a warm and welcoming city that make anyone fall in love with it. While some fall in love with its speed, others fell for its calmness among the chaos, however, between all of that love, there’s a constant rage among property rates.
Until and unless you have been cashed in by some really wealthy people, or you are the wealthy people, buying a house in the city almost feels like a dream. With millions of youngsters constantly striving to make it big in the city, the dream of getting their own house is something everyone has thought of.
The same story follows the life of Vicky Kaushal and Angira Dhar’s characters, as shown in the Love Per Square Foot trailer. The movie is based on the dreams of two youngsters who are saving up to buy their own home in the land of dreams – Mumbai. But in order to get one, they definitely need a loan to support them, what started as a solo-mission, soon starts to work as a joint-loan crosswalk which has co-joined their struggles for a long time now.
What follows this simple agreement, is a whole lot of trouble and complications and uninvited misunderstanding between the two and their families.
Interestingly, Love Per Square Foot won’t be releasing in a theatre but rather on the computers near you. This is Netflix India’s first original film, along with being Ronnie Screwvala’s first solo production venture.

This is Angira Dhar’s first Bollywood project, and along with her, the movie supports a talented cast including Ratna Pathak Shah, Raghuvir Yadav and Supriya Pathak in pivotal roles.
Love Per Square Foot is also the directorial debut of Anand Tiwari and one can stream it on this year’s Valentine’s Day.
