Anton Yelchin, best known for Star Trek And Alpha Dog died in his own car on Sunday. The actor’s car rolled down his driveway, his publicist said.
The rising actor was 27 years old and was on his way to meet friends for a rehearsal. His car pinned against a brick mailbox pillar and a security fence at his home in Los Angeles. Officer Jenny Hosier said that he got out of the car when it started rolling but the reason why he was behind it is not confirmed.
Anton Yelchin was going to meet friends for a rehearsal but when he didn’t show up, his friends came to his home and found him dead. The engine of the car was running when they found his body and the car was in neutral.
Yelchin was a promising actor and his audiences were still getting to know him. His next movie “Star Trek Beyond,” the third film in the rebooted series is slated to release on 22 July. J.J. Abrams who cast Yelchin in the franchise mourned his death and wrote a heart touching note on his memory.
