‘Rings’ is all set to return to the screen after 11 years and this remake of the popular Japanese horror franchise The Ring has everything you would want to see in a horror movie. ‘Rings’ brings back the terror of hearing the chilling phrase “seven days” over the phone as it is an unmistakable death sentence for whoever hears it.
The trailer of ‘Rings’ begins by re-establishing the basic story of the series where some poor soul watches a cursed videotape and as soon as the tape finishes, phone rings, the receiver gets a whispered warning of “seven days” and then dies a horrible death after the worst week of their life. Matilda Lutz is the first victim of the ghost in the movie and she refuses to believe in the curse as she pleads “you’re not real” over and over. Though it is a remake of The Ring but the storyline seem to be improvised as the ghost do not only wants to kill but also wants to come back to life.

From the beginning of the trailer, I was thinking why Rings? I mean there should be something to do with the use of Plural of the word and through the end, I realised that the makers have not only improvised the storyline but also amplified the horror quotient of the movie. It’s not going to be only one person who dies but after rebirth, she is taking down the whole world.
