“Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them” trailer is here which is a spin-off or rather a prequel to the ever so popular Harry Potter series. This is the first instalment of the book which is written by the queen herself, J.K Rowling, who is also making her screenwriting debut with this movie.
The Harry Potter series is the most popular book-to-film adaptation of all time, yes, it bid adieu to some of the classics like Shawshank Redemption, Lord Of The Rings and even Game Of Thrones, and reached the top spot. Earlier this year, the author released the screenplay to “Harry Potter And The Cursed Child” all over the world and made a whopping $2 Million in just the initial two days. So we know, how dear J.K Rowling’s work is to people which is the reason why Fantastic Beast is also one of the most anticipated releases this year.
The story is set in the year 1926 and majorly focuses on Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) who arrives in New York at the Magical Congress for an important meeting. However, he (by accident) sets all the dangerous beasts inside his briefcase free in the wilderness of New York City which is full of people who don’t know anything about magic or wizards (basically Muggles). So now Newt is all set to go on a magical adventure to get all these beasts back to where they belong (in his briefcase) in order to avert a war between Wizards and Humans.

The trailer is extremely good and brings nostalgia to all the Harry Potter fans, it has some really good beasts and for the first time, we would be able to see magic (literally) happening on the street of New York City. As well as, the Harry Potter theme song (with a twist) in the end gave me goosebumps. The movie also includes Katherine Waterston, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler and Colin Farrell.
“Fantastic Beasts” is directed by David Yates and is releasing worldwide on 18 November 2016.
